Hey y’all! today I am going to another post in my Ephesians bible study. I read this a few weeks ago and it has really stuck with me ever since.
My response is to get down on my knees before the Father, this magnificent Father who parcels out all heaven and earth. I ask him to strengthen you by his Spirit—not a brute strength but a glorious inner strength—that Christ will live in you as you open the door and invite him in. And I ask him that with both feet planted firmly on love, you’ll be able to take in with all followers of Jesus the extravagant dimensions of Christ’s love. Reach out and experience the breadth! Test its length! Plumb the depths! Rise to the heights! Live full lives, full in the fullness of God. God can do anything, you know—far more than you could ever imagine or guess or request in your wildest dreams! He does it not by pushing us around but by working within us, his Spirit deeply and gently within us.
Basically these verses are telling us that when we are planted firmly in God and let him take control, we will be living a life far greater than we could ever imagine. God takes our dreams and does things with them that we would never in a million years think would happen to us. He does this by his spirit working within us telling us witch way to go.
I found this little blurb really encouraging because I am currently at a point in my life where I need to start thinking about what I want to do with my life. The truth is I don’t know. I can see myself going down multiple career paths, I just need to figure out which one God made as the right fit for me. I need to start asking myself, “what does God want me to with my life?” I guess thats the reason I don’t know what my future will look like; God does the unimaginable.
I hope this helped some of you as much as it helped me! Leave a comment down below what these verses made you think about or i you are going through the same thing I am
