Hey y’all! Sorry I haven’t posted for a while, I just wasn’t feeling inspired. I have decided that I want to put more effort into each post I put up so from now on I will be posting once a week, on Saturday. You might get a few bonus posts here and there, but make sure you come back every Saturday for a new post. Since that is all out of the way, lets get into what this blog post is all about: New York City! ( I went in March, so this is a little late but hey; better late than never right?)
For spring break I went to New York City with my aunt and cousins. It was so much fun and am so thankful that I got to go! This was my second time visiting the City and I absolutely love it, I can’t wait to go back. We left on a Wednesday and came back on a Saturday. While we were there it even snowed! That was really exciting for me since I live on the coast of North Carolina; it hardly ever snows here! We stayed at the Gallivant Times Square. I would give this a 4/5 stars. The location was great because it was located a few blocks from times square and the room itself was pretty big. My only complaints is that the lighting sucked, there were no outlets in the bathroom (that made doing your hair a little tricky), and one night we came back and our bathroom smelled like pot (I guess it came down from the vent?). All in all though, you typically don’t spend that much time in the room when you go to New York so it was manageable.
The Rockefeller Center:
We went to the top at night and it was so cool and peaceful up there! The view is great and you can even see the Empire State Building.
Let me know in the comments down below where your favorite places to go in NYC are! I would love some recommendations for the next time I go.
Sorry I haven’t posted for a while, I just wasn’t feeling inspired. I have decided that I want to put more effort into each post I put up so from now on I will be posting once a week, on Sunday. You might get a few bonus posts here and there, but make sure you come back every Sunday for a new post.
I live on the coast of North Carolina, which means that one day it can be 40 degrees and over night the temp. can jump up to 70. It can be hard sometimes to adjust your wardrobe from winter to spring when one day you are all bundled up and then in a tank top the very next. The day I shot these photos it was pretty cold outside.
My loose cream colored sweater is from H&M, jeans are the “original skinny” from Old Navy, and my bag is a Long champ Le Pilage Small shoulder tote.
I for one cannot wait for the upcoming spring and summer months!

Hey y’all! It has been such a long time since I have shared what makeup products I use on an everyday basis. I pretty wear this every single day. Sometimes I will wear eyeshadow, but on most days I don’t.
Amazonian Clay full coverage Foundation. This foundation is has really good coverage and is the only foundation I have found that doesn’t turn orange. Review I did on this.
Hard Candy Glamoflauge Concealer. I use this to cover up my dark circles, eyelids, and any blemishes I have.
Airspun Loose Face Powder. This is a great drugstore powder for oily skin. I also did a review on this which can be found HERE
Two Faced Milk Chocolate Soleil Matte Bronzer. This is amazing. I got this for Christmas and love the contour I can get with it.
To highlight I use the 2nd in the highlighter row of this Carlie Bybel palette. It is a beautiful golden champagne color.
To fill in my brows I use the shade “Undone” in the Naked 2 Basics Palette by Urban Decay.
Eyebrow gel and Mascara. This is my go to mascara. I have been using it for about 5 years (different bottles of course). It makes your lashes so full and voluminous.
I hope you guys like this post! Let me know in the comments down below what your go to products are.

This picture doesn’t do this bag justice. I got mine in a olive green color which is called “Khaki”. It is a nylon material so it is very durable material. You can fit so much in here! If I didn’t zip it, my laptop could even fit in it.

Hey y’all! Happy Friday! So within the past month I have gotten on the Paper mask band wagon. I was Christmas shopping one day and got intrigued so figured I would pick some up and try them.
The one frustrating thing I do not like about regular face masks is the taking off part. Maybe I’m just doing it wrong, but nothing is relaxing to me about having to scrub your face with water and a wash cloth to get the face mask off. I think that is one of the reasons why I became obsessed with paper masks after my first use. You don’t have to wash your face afterwards.
THE BEST PAPER MASK EVER:
yes to tomatoes: DETOXIFYING CHARCOAL PAPER MASK
This mask uses charcoal to clean your pores and also detoxify your skin. You leave it on for about 10 minutes. This masks makes my skin feel tingly & relaxed while it’s on and clean and refreshed afterwards.
I would highly recommend this mask. They are about $3 each which sucks because I would use one every single day if I could, but they are worth the money. I just have to limit myself to 2-3 a week lol.
Leave me a comment down below what your favorite paper mask is. Make sure to follow this blog so you don’t miss any of my posts!
